In the 1965, 27th February Lions Club of Burdwan was founded and 11th March, 1965 Club was Chartered by the Lions Clubs International, sponsoring club Lions Club of Raniganj. There was 30 Chartered members who founded the Club and Charter President was late Lion Dr.Somesh Ch. Ghosh. Lions Club of Burdwan is doing outstandingly services to the suffering in the society with high reputation in Burdwan and its surroundings. |
